Recon 2012

Katerina Troshina

I was graduated from Moscow State University in 2005. I worked in Institute for system programming of Russian Academy of Sciences with Alexander Chernov as my supervisor till July 2010. I obtained my PhD from Moscow State University in 2009. The purpose of the work was to develop a technology for decompilation - translation of machine code or bytecode obtained from a compiler back into the source code in the original high level language. This technology was implemented as decompiler prototype (TypesDecompiler). TyDec was the basis for SmartDec - a native code to C/C++ decompiler (see http://decompilation.info)/ I am currently working as a researcher in Select LTD company. My research interests include program analysis and reverse engineering. SmartDec decompiler is being developed by this company.
