HOW TO GET THERE
Air
Arriving at the BRU Airport, you can decide to take the Train or a Taxi to get to the area where the Recon Brussels venue and surrounding hotels are located. A Taxi from the airport to the city should cost you around 45 to 50€. A ticket to get on any IC (InterCity) train headed to Brussels Midi/Zuid Station (Brussels South Station) will cost you around 8 to 12€, and should be bought at one of the SNCB kiosks or self-service stands located in the -1 level of the airport prior to taking the train.
Brussels is also served by the Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL), located about 1:30 away when using a combination of the TEC and IC trains.
Train
Recon Brussels is located a few minutes away from one of the main Brussels train stations: the Brussels Midi/Zuid Station (Brussels South Station). This station is directly connected to the city’s other two major stations: the Central and North stations; and is served by high-speed rail to most major European cities. You can get to Brussels from both Amsterdam, Netherlands and London, United Kingdom in just under two hours; and even quicker from Paris, France; should you be further away, you can get in Brussels from cities such as Frankfurt in about three hours.
LANGUAGE
Official Languages are French and Dutch, more than 30% of the people also speak english well or very well. Many other language are spoken as well.
