Julian Kirsch is a PhD student at Technical University of Munich. Most of his time he finds himself staring at assembly code, dissecting malicious software. His main research interest is the development of automated tools that assist humans during the process of analysing obfuscated code. He teaches undergraduate students binary exploitation of modern Linux systems and reverse engineering at TUM. Julian gave talks at REcon and CCC in the past and devotes most of his spare time to playing Capture-The-Flag-Contests (CTFs) with the H4x0rPsch0rr [0] team.
